Educational Background & Work Experience Eng. Al Soqabi holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering fromGeorgeWashington University, DC, USA, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Maastricht University. He has further participated in several Executive Training Programs provided by Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Over all, he possesses a cumulative practical experience of 19 years, diversified among the fields of Civil Engineering, Project and Construction Management, Risk Analysis, Enterprise and Corporate Governance, Compliance; however, most notably, his strategic and leading role as a Chief Executive Officer during the past 10 years. Mr. Al Soqabi was successful in transforming a pioneering Kuwaiti contracting company into a Holding entity (Kuwaiti Manager Company – subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House), thus encompassing under numerous subsidiaries through both inorganic and organic growths, which have been undertaking several activities at the local, regional and international markets, such as Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States,Turkey, and Hong Kong. Currently, he holds the Group CEO position for Mazaya Holding, a leading Real Estate Development Company, with multiple successful subsidiaries, not only focusing on the GCC market, but extending well into other geographical settings. The introduced strategy and business plan which have been in implementation for the past 4 years, have yielded a compounded annual growth rate of 20% in terms of net profit. Mr. Al Soqabi held several board positions in reputable listed companies such as First Dubai Real Estate, Kuwaiti Manager Co. for Contracting, Baitek Real Estate, Al Enma’ Real Estate (ERESCO), Al Tijaria Commercial Real Estate, and Al Masaken Real Estate. Salwa Malhas, ME Chief Operating Officer Educational Background & Work Experience Eng. Salwa Malhas Holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan. Eng. Salwa studied at INSEAD Executive Education & at Harvard Business School Executive Education . Salwa Malhas has more than 27 years of experience in Real Estate Development, Business Models and Feasibility Studies. Eng. Salwa is the Chief Operating Officer at Al Mazaya Holding. Since January 2004, Malhas has developed, structured, assessed and analysed the company’s business plans. Sourcing and overseeing the growth of profitable business opportunities, Salwa has proposed projects to the government, conducted feasibility studies and managed the marketing at the project and corporate level. In the past, Malhas served as a General Manager at al-Masaken, a subsidiary of ACICO, and Ghassan Al-Khaled Group for eight years. She sourced, researched, and proposed new lands for profitable real estate development projects, while overseeing corporate marketing. Prior to this, she served as a Tendering Engineer at Al-Zaben International Company (as a first-grade contractor). Malhas was also a professor’s assistant at the engineering department of TECNO Jordan University in 1993. In addition, Salwa Malhas served as a board member for many real estate and investment companies, & she is currently Vice Chairman in First Dubai Real Estate Development Company (which has more than USD300 million in capital). She has participated in several executive training. She has succesfully completed an executive programmes in Harvard University / excutive education such as " Real Estate Managment Program" Finance, design and leadership. She also Participated in many executive courses in" INSEAD Business School" such as, Disruptive technology, blue Ocean Strategy, and Innovative Intillegence. In addition.
